SATTE
India's leading artist,
Sanjay Bhattacharya,
painted his vision of
the world coming
together on a tourism
map, bringing together
the Blue Mosque in
Istanbul upfront along
The Taj Mahal in Agra,
India.
200 autographed digital
prints are available for
sale. Priced at
Rs.25000/- each, the
organizers have
committed half of the
earnings towards the
newly launched SATTE
Tourism Foundation. A
sum of Rs.12500/- will
be collected per
painting sold, and
handed over to the
Foundation. A sum of Rs.
25.00 lakhs is the
target to be raised. The
proceeds will be
directed towards some
worthy cause for
tourism, to be
identified by the
Foundation.
Specially Commissioned
by SATTE, the painting
was formally released
for public viewing
during the SATTE 2010
inauguration, by India's
minister for Tourism,
Kumari Selja, in the
presence of other
distinguished guests.
